Devlog 3 (02/11/2006)

Hey everyone!

 I figured it’s about time I actually start keeping some sort of record of what’s going on with Caretaker’s development. Razor keeps telling me that I’ll regret not having any logs later on, so here I am, typing this up at like 12:40 AM on a school night, haha.

Caretaker 0.0.7 is coming along alright. Most of the work this week was building the first interior area (right now I’m calling it “The Drawing Room” but that might change). I’m still getting used to Unity since this whole engine is completely new to me. The camera system is giving me a LOT of trouble. I tried implementing a smoother transition between angles but it keeps snapping too fast, so that’s going to need a rewrite.

Here’s what’s expected in 0.0.7:

It’s not much, but this is the first update where the game is starting to look like… an actual game? Maybe?
